Description

We show that the supposed Majorana nature of neutrinos is intimately linked to the presence of large mixing angles between families. This follows simpy from Lorentz invariance in an extended (6-dimensional model). The appraoch predicts in addition an "Inverted Hierarchy" between neutrino masses, mitigated however by a large "pseudo-Dirac" compensation, which limits the rate of neutrinoless nuclear double beta decay.
