Description
We propose a general non-perturbative approach for a relativistic description of compound systems within a framework of covariant light-front dynamics. It is based on a Fock decomposition of the state vector and its truncation. Counterterms and bare parameters needed to renormalize the theory depend on this truncation. We present a systematic way to calculate these quantities for any number of particles in the compound system. We shall present the application of our scheme and the first results for QED in the 2-body Fock space truncation and for Yukawa model in the 3-body Fock space truncation. Finally our formalism is applied to the description of the nucleon properties at low energy, in Chiral perturbation theory.
