The 3rd OSCARS Annual General Meeting will take place on 4-5 May 2027, face-to-face, in Brussels - Belgium, at “The Hotel”, Boulevard de Waterloo 38, 1000 BRUSSELS.

With nearly all of the 1st Open Call projects coming to an end before the end of April 2027, the 2-day event will be dedicated to the presentation of final achievements and results from the first wave of projects and mid-term outcomes from the second wave. It will also provide an opportunity for the funded projects to work with the Science Clusters on sustainability and community uptake. OSCARS consortium members and funded projects are invited to join.

The venue will accommodate up to 120 attendees, OSCARS members, as well as representatives of the funded projects from the Open Calls.

Up to one representative per project will have the opportunity to attend and present the challenges, solutions, and the scientific impact of their initiatives, and work with the wider community.

From the OSCARS consortium we would expect about 3 representatives per beneficiary or affiliated entity. Depending on numbers we will invite additional guests individually.

OSCARS is a four-year EU-funded project that strives to foster the uptake of Open Science in Europe by consolidating the achievements of world-class European research infrastructures in the ESFRI roadmap and beyond into lasting interdisciplinary FAIR data services and working practices. The project aims to strengthen the role of the Science Clusters in the ERA by developing domain-based Competence Centres and by fostering the implementation of Open Science projects funded through a cascading grant mechanism.
