How to get there

Reaching Grenoble

By train

The station is ideally located in the city centre.

  • Grenoble - Lyon: regional trains every 30 minutes, journey time 1 hour 20 minutes.
  • Grenoble - Paris: 8 direct TGVs per day connect Grenoble to the capital in just over 3 hours.

By car

Grenoble is particularly easy to reach via the A48 motorway (Lyon, Valence), the A41 motorway (Chambéry, Annecy, Geneva) and the A51 motorway (Marseille, Nice).

By plane

Lyon - Saint Exupéry Airport is one hour from Grenoble. Regular shuttles serve the Grenoble bus station as well as the "Grenoble Oxford" stop, located close to the laboratory.

Getting to the laboratory

The easiest way to reach the LPSC is to take Tram B, which runs through the city centre, in the direction of "Grenoble Oxford". The LPSC is located directly opposite the terminus, at the "Grenoble Oxford" stop.

Tickets can be purchased individually at tram stops (from ticket machines) and must be validated before boarding (validators are available on the platforms).

The Transports à Grenoble (TAG) will provide you with maps, information, and details on public transport services serving the LPSC.
