We present some of the observational evidences showing, beyond any reasonable doubt, the existence of Dark Matter (DM). We discuss some of the predicted properties of equilibrated DM structures, based on either numerical N-body simulations, or on pure theory. We will finally discuss one remarkable behaviour af dark matter, namely that the DM temperature may depend on direction, and we will present observational evidence that we have infact already observed this weird thing.
