The Belle II experiment, placed at the electron-positron SuperKEKB collider in Japan, focuses on the study of heavy flavour physics through decays of mesons containing a beauty quark. The measurements performed with Belle II data give us an opportunity to test the unitarity of the CKM matrix and look for rare processes which are sensitive to non-Standard-Model effects. After introducing the concept of B-factories and presenting the Belle II detector, I will give an overview of measurements performed over the first 7 years of data taking. To better illustrate these studies, I will focus on three different analyses: a measurement of |Vub| using inclusive semileptonic charmless B-meson decays, a measurement of the B+ → K+vv̅ branching fraction and a measurement of the α angle with B0 → π0π0 decays. Finally, I will shortly highlight other important Belle II results, including measurements which do not involve a B-meson decay.
