Registration fees and financial support: The registration fee is €400 for Master’s students, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers. This fee covers full board for the duration of the school, including accommodation in a shared double room and meals, coffee breaks, and the social dinner, for 5 days (Sunday evening to Friday).
A limited number of partial fee waivers may be granted upon request, with priority given to students and early-career researchers. Students applying for support must submit a short statement from their PhD supervisor motivating their participation and, where applicable, their request for partial financial support (reduced fee: €250).
CNRS employees are exempt from the registration fee.
Registration is open until 31 March 2026.
Fee payment will open shortly after registration closes.
CNRS “formation permanente” recognition: GWsNS-2026 is recognised as a "CNRS thematic school" within the CNRS continuing education program (“formation permanente”), and the organisation benefits from CNRS financial support.
As a consequence, participation is recognised by French doctoral schools and may count toward mandatory doctoral training. A certificate of attendance can be issued upon request for credit recognition to PhD and master's students. The number of credits (if any) is determined solely by your doctoral school’s internal rules; participants should therefore contact their doctoral school directly.
Because the school is part of the CNRS education program, it may also be eligible for financial support from French doctoral schools (subject to local rules); please check with your doctoral school.
