  • How to reach Madrid downtown from hotel

If you want to visit Madrid downtown, the easiest way is to take a bus.

    • Head towards Madrid, the most convenient bus stop is No. 11959 (Carretera de la Coruña – Estación de Las Matas). You can take buses 611, 611A, 613, 686, 686A, or 691 to the Intercambiador de Moncloa (Moncloa transport hub, the last stop). From there, take Metro Line 3 (the yellow one) to Sol, which is the very heart of Madrid.
    • To return to the hotel, simply do the same in reverse: take Metro Line 3 back to Intercambiador de Moncloa, then any of the same buses, and get off at stop No. 11958 (Apeadero Estación de Las Matas), right next to the pedestrian bridge on the side of the commuter train station.
    • It takes about 40 to 50 minutes to get from the hotel to Puerta del Sol. You can get real-time bus arrival information using the NaviLens GO or Transporte Madrid Tiempo Real apps.
