Probing new phenomena in the final state with two leptons in the ATLAS detector at LHC (20' + Q/A 10') 30m

This presentation summarizes my work on measuring electron trigger efficiencies in the ATLAS data collected during 2023-2024 and the reinterpretation of ATLAS differential cross-section measurements of Drell-Yan scattering at high mass within the Standard Model Effective Field theory framework

Improvement of the electron detection performance with AI for the ATLAS experiment measurements of the Drell-Yan scattering at high dilepton masses (20' + Q/A 10') 30m

This presentation summarizes my first year’s work. After having briefly introduced the interest and principles of electron identification in the ATLAS experiment, I will present my work on systematic comparison of electron identification variables in simulation and data. Then, I will describe how these variables are combined into a machine learning-based algorithm used for electron identification and the future improvements that will be made to it

      Orateur: Maxime Zumbihl
