Coming to the Annecy area
By train:
They are many direct trains from Paris (center) to Annecy (3h40): SNCF website
If you're coming from Italy, Lyon and Geneva can also be reached by train.
By plane:
To reach our region, you have the choice through two main airports, in Lyon (France) or Geneva (Switzerland):
From the airports
By bus:

By taxi:
A lot more expensive (about 80-100 Euros) than the bus, attractive only if you can share the transportation. For these compagnies, you have to book your place in advance.

By car:
Cars can also be rented on arrival at the Geneva or Lyon airports.

How to go from the Annecy city center or train station to the laboratory in Annecy-le-Vieux
By bus:
The price of the bus ticket is 1.50€, valid for one way and up to 1 connection. You can buy it in the bus by sending an SMS. You can buy one ticket to the driver for 2.00€. Available option of 10 tickets at the price of 8.50 € , or a 7 day pass at 16.40€, can be found in the Sibra shop or in Tabac shops in the city. - From the Annecy city center to the laboratory in Annecy-le-Vieux :
- Take bus No. 1 or No. 4. You can take them either at the main station, Vaugelas or Bonlieu stops (indicated in the Annecy center map below).
- Both buses stop at the "CAMPUS" stop. For bus No. 4 this is the terminus of the line, but not for bus No. 1.
