Description

Paris-Saclay Space Science Center (CPS3) has been leading for a few years now a discussion on the contribution of high-altitude platforms, also called "High Altitude Pseudo Satellite" or HAPS. 

We will pursue the discussion during a workshop, Monday the 24th of March, at the Institut Pascal (Paris-Saclay). 

The program should be as follows.

  •  Welcome
  •  NEOSTARS progress report –
  •  Platform session
  •  A presentation on legal aspects (Q. Gueho) 
  •  New expressions of need (meteorites, TGF/ Astro gamma) 

In the afternoon, we will organize  "thematic" round tables related to various topics: astrophysics / gamma radiation (TGF and space), greenhouse gases, monitoring of agro-ecosystems, hydrology,  water cycle, urban environment. 

Registration is free but mandatory before the 5th of March.

Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided on site.
