The PhysTeV workshop focuses on fundamental physics at the intersection of theory and experiment, with a particular emphasis on CERN's LHC and high-precision quantum measurements. It addresses key challenges in the Standard Model, such as the nature of dark matter, the absence of antimatter, and the issue of electroweak naturalness. PhysTeV also seeks to advance quantum field theory and refine Standard Model predictions. By bringing together theorists and experimentalists, the workshop fosters collaboration and drives the search for new physics across particle physics and related fields.

World-leading experts are convened to tackle fundamental theoretical puzzles posed by observations such as dark matter, the disappearance of antimatter in the Universe, and the discovery of the Higgs boson. Their goal is to develop innovative techniques and strategies to uncover signals of new physics at TeV-scale particle colliders and cutting-edge experiments conducted at lower energies.

The theme of the 2025 edition is New Horizons in Physics.

SM Session :   16 – 25 June 2025

The SM session will feature two main working groups on the following topics:

  • Precision Measurements, including precision Higgs physics, QCD and EW corrections to SM processes, amplitudes, and PDFs

  • Monte Carlo & Tools, Resummation, Jets, and Machine Learning Techniques

In addition, part of the discussions will be dedicated to higher-order computations for future high-energy colliders. A significant portion of the session will be devoted to brainstorming discussions and collaborative work among participants, with some discussions led by conveners. Light proceedings are foreseen.
