HADRIEN GRASLAND
IJCLab, CNRS
Hadrien Grasland is a software developer at IJCLab, a French laboratory attached to CNRS and the Paris-Saclay and Paris-Cité universities whose research covers many areas of physics, from the very large (astrophysics and cosmology) to the very small (nuclear and particle physics). He specializes in the craft of software performance analysis and tuning, whether it comes to leveraging more hardware to solve bigger problems, doing more work within a constant hardware/time budget, or doing the same work with a smaller amount of resources. He has a decade of experience in technical training, that culminated most recently with his contribution to the recurring Gray-Scott School (hundreds of participants over a period of two weeks, covering dozens of programming languages/frameworks and software performance optimization topics).
