Conference Schedule
Local on-site registration will start on Sunday 17th August 2025 in the afternoon.
The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday 18th August at 8.30am and the conference will end on Saturday 23rd August at 11am.
Session hours are from 8.30am to 12 noon and 1.30pm to 5pm.
Conference sessions will be held in the ICISE Conference Centre, and daily transport from the hotel to the ICISE will be provided.
Conference Facilities
The conference centre is fully equipped with modern presentation, communication and dining facilities as well as air conditioning and extensive outdoor areas.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be in a four star hotel in Quy Nhon. Registration ahead of the early-bird deadline (TBD) will guarantee a room.
All sessions will be held in the ICISE conference centre, ten minutes by road (or a one hour walk) away from the hotel (map). Daily bus transfer (morning and afternoon) will be provided by the conference organisation.
Participants will be expected to arrive by the afternoon of Sunday 14th August, and will leave on or after the afternoon of Saturday 20th August.
Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotel for all participants. Lunch will be served at the ICISE. The cost per person (full board for six days) are $360 US for a double room and $525 US for a single room. The cost per additional day is $130 US for double room and $90 US for a single room. These are indicative prices and will be confirmed shortly.
If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water.
Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter may incur a small supplement).
Important Note:
Hotel reservations are made for the whole duration of the meeting, i.e. from Sunday noon, 17th August to the morning of Saturday 23rd August. Please note that the total cost of the meeting cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.
If you intend to arrive before Sunday 17th August or leave after Saturday 23rd August, please let us know in advance so that we can try to make the appropriate hotel reservation for you: contact rencontres.vietnam@gmail.com
Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.
Travel
There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN) and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN). As there more flights from Ho Chi Minh to Quy Nhon, it is more convenient to fly from foreign countries to Ho Chi Minh than to Hanoi. Booking international travel to one of these major cities, and using a separate ticket/airline for travel within Vietnam is often much cheaper.
In order to welcome you and organise your transfer from Quy Nhon airport to the conference hotel, please inform the conference secretariat of your flight number as well as the date and the arrival time in Quy Nhon. Conference buses will be available at Quy Nhon airport on Sunday 17 August (morning and afternoon flights) and Monday 18 August (morning flights).

Financial Support
Some limited funds may be available to support those who need it in order to attend the conference, such as early-career researchers who are not representing experimental collaborations. Certain constraints apply to the limited resources we have available, so support will only be granted on a case-by-case basis.

- Welcome cocktail on Sunday 17th August at 7pm.
- Excursion on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th August.
- Conference dinner on Thursday 21st August in the evening.
All participants and their families are invited to regularly scheduled events.
