Description

In this talk I will describe the theoretical framework and the main features of the Einstein-Boltzmann (EB) solver hi_class. After a brief introduction on EB solvers and their utility, I will focus on the popular class of scalar-tensor theories à la Horndeski, discussing their formulation and how to parametrize them efficiently on a cosmological background. Then, I shall describe the main features of the latest release of hi_class, commenting on the new physics behind this code.

Finally, I will discuss some of the main results in the literature, as well as current constraints on the cosmological parameters.
