Reporting Period 2 :

Periodic Report re-sent on 28/03 with some missing financial information from Partners ==> Not well received from EC, we have have to update it again with missing information. Still missing information from SURFSARA.

Still many difficulties to collect justifications from Partners

 

2022 events organisations:

- 24/05 in Person EEB and CrossWP discussions

- 25/05 General assembly visio

- October Closure event

 

WP1 General:

- Amendment request done for some adjustments

- Preparing for final deliverable: Blueprint

- Deliverables and Milestones :

• WP5 MS34: Delivery and integration of new ESFRI visualization and analysis tools ==> Achieved in April (postponed from February to April)
• WP5 MS35: Final WP5 ESFRI user training workshop on the Science Platform. ==> shifted from May to November
• WP2 D2.3: Final assessment and analysis of the full prototypes, outlook for further development and deployment towards full production services within EOSC. ==> shifted from May to June

 

Ian:

• Also: ESCAPE Collaboration Agreement is being signed by RIs.  Document attached to the agenda - sections relevant to the work programme are 2, 9, and Annexe 2.

• Sabine managed to modify the RSP platform, so that we can load containers that are not LSST.
• It requires installing specific initialization files and securing the container (authentication, network access, etc.)
• CTA container that would contain the CTA software to be tested via the RSP ?

ESCAPE WEBINARS

• Webinar/workshop ESCAPE and EOSC Future to be prepared, probably in June or July.

BRANDING

• Videos with WP leaders interviews. Reshoots to be scheduled in may at LAPP during EEB meeting.
• Only 2 video pills to be done: EST (waiting for approval) and HLC
• Final blueprint will start being created in June.

6 EOSC Future / TSPs / VRE

Status from Jared:

• Small starting files in the data lake.
• Manage to connect it to the VRE (the terminal as well as the jupyter hub).
• Can pull code from git and run them in the terminal as would on own machine.
• Two notebooks added for running the two stages of our reinterpretation step-by-step. Others with access to the VRE have also been able to run this.
• Now we are trying to run with REANA, so we can manage to perform larger tasks on the VRE.
• JENAS-Seminar this week to present his poster.

EOSC-Future (Ian):

• Still waiting for small development that is needed to enable ESCAPE AAI to federate with EOSC.  Timescale is now.
• Resources should be available to us from '07 projects (parallel to EOSC-Future), hopefully we can start to use very soon, for testing TSP deployments.
• ESCAPE going through onboarding process for OSSR.  Registering LAPP and FAU as partners responsible for it.   Once this is done will onboard HEP Open Data portal and IVOA data archive.
• Preparing for M12 EC review of the project (2-3 June) - not sure if we will be able to show something from ESCAPE yet.

VRE (Enrique)

• Starting onboarding of SP EU (4 new arrivals) Post docs into the VRE.
