CMB and inflation

I will present the status of the current constraints on the primordial universe from the observation of the Cosmic Microwave Background. I will introduce the concept of inflation and in particular slow-roll inflation and discuss the models that disfavored today and those that we plan to constrain further with the upcoming experiments, with a particular emphasis on the B modes measurements and the preparation of the LiteBIRD space mission.
