Description
NIMS, the National Institute for Materials Science, is recognized as the most internationalized research institute in Japan; regularly around 400 researchers and students coming from 40 countries, more than 200 MOU, and several international programs such as international joint graduate school programs and internship program. NIMS has been also proactive in coordinating the worldwide network of COE for nanotechnology and materials science such as the World Materials Research Institute Forum.
