Description
We provide a brief overview of the historical developments of global
analyses of nuclear PDFs incorporating heavy quarks into the PDF
formalism. We then look at the various data sets which have been used
to extract the proton PDF and highlight the necessity of addressing
the nuclear dimension in a coherent framework.
