Description
Hadrontherapy is a rising technique for tumor treatment. It boosts the biological effect of the radiations in the tumor cells while sparing the healthy tissues. The treatment optimization requires biophysical models to predict the effect of hadrons : such as the Modified Microdosimetric Kinetic Model (MMKM) and the Nanodosimetry Oxidative stress model (NanOx). We are presenting a methodology to couple the outcome of these models to Geant4 simulations.
