• EC project deliverables
  • WP2 Milestone M2.2: Initial pilot data lake with at least 3 sites.
    • Due date 31st July. Delivered [doc here]
    • ESCAPE News [project web page]
  • ESCAPE Periodical Technical report
    • 10 August 2020 – WP leads provide individual reports to WP1 (draft delivered end of July)
    • 31 August 2020 – Final draft ready to be shared with General Assembly and EEAB
    • 11 September 2020 – Deadline for EGA and EEAB to provide feedback and comments
    • 21 September 2020 – Final versions ready to be submitted.
• LOFAR Task Force: at the last EB proposed a task force across WPs based on a demonstrator with LOFAR data (but not excluding other experiments)
  • Kick-off meeting took place 15 July among task leads and ESCAPE Technical Coordinator.
  • Agreed to proceed with this activity with periodical checkpoints (monthly tech coord meeting)
    • Gathering ideas for demonstrators: LOFAR and longer term science cases to help integrate the ESFRIs and the various WPs.

    • T2.2 Advancements on QoS experiments input and QoS further deployment plans  (Paul)
    • T2.5 Update (Andrea)
  • 29th July: T2.3 and T2.4 updates (Rosie kindly agreed to chair the meeting, thanks!)

  • 26th August: T2.1 Datalake status and plans for the performance analysis 
    • => RUCIO Jupyterlab integration (GSoC)
  • 2nd September: Task leads. Workplan for the pilot datalake assessment (next milestone)
  • 9th September: T2.1 Datalake status and plans for the performance analysis 

• ESCAPE DIOS 2nd Workshop at GSI Darmstadt, Germany

• ESCAPE RUCIO-JupyterNoteBook integration host in SWAN at CERN since know-how sits there
