CNRS and CEA are jointly organising in 2020 the "International Pyroprocessing Research Conference" in France. This conference, initiated in 2006 by USA, takes place every two years. USA hosted the conference in 2006, 2012 and 2014, Korea in 2008 and 2016, Russia in 2010 and finaly Japan in 2018. France has proposed during the last edition to organize for the first time the conference in 2020. The researchers are coming mainly from the research community dedicated to nuclear energy field and nuclear fuel reprocessing. The objective of this conference is to present the most recent developments in the technology of fuel pyro-reprocessing and the most recent results in several domains such as the chemical separations, the analytical chemistry, the molten salt properties, the wastes management, the materials behaviour in molten salts and the molten salt reactor.
