Description
Neutrino flavour oscillation is a phenomena well established in the physics community, however some pieces are still missing to complete the picture: in particular the value of the mixing angle theta13 and the possible measurement of the CP violating phase deltaCP .
Present experiments such as T2K as well as possible future long baseline neutrino oscillation experiments will try to cast light on these important issues. Nowadays the Liquid Argon TPC technology can be exploited besides the well known Water Cerenkov one.
In this seminar I will discuss the possible use of a LAr TPC for the T2K experiment and I will present some sensitivity studies on the physics reach of a very large LAr TPC detector on future neutrino beams.
