We review the computation of NNLO QCD corrections to vector boson pair production at hadron colliders. We present inclusive cross sections and fully differential NNLO predictions where selection cuts are taken into account. The computation includes off-shell effects, the leptonic decay of the vector bosons and non-resonant contributions. We compare theoretical predictions to fiducial cross sections and distributions measured by ATLAS and CMS. The NNLO predictions significantly improve the agreement with the data.
