Accurate predictions for associated Higgs and top production

In this talk, I will review the state of the art predictions for the production of a Higgs boson in association with top quarks, as well as for some of the dominant background processes. After introducing the subject, I will review recent results concerning theoretical predictions for these processes and comment upon the precise extraction of the top Yukawa coupling at present and future colliders
