Description
Dark Matter (DM) is a long standing puzzle in high energy physics and goal of a diverse research program. Recent excesses in underground and satellite based DM searches emphasize the low masses region. At the LHC we have great sensitivity to this region and are able to test a phase space not otherwise accessible. Latest searches for DM pair production will be presented utilizing effective field theories and simplified models. We achieve complementary and comparable sensitivities to direct and indirect dark matter searches in regions where excesses have been reported. Furthermore new signatures involving heavy quarks, theoretical developments, and projections for the upcoming LHC run will be discussed.
