The Centre d'Etudes Nucléaires de Bordeaux Gradignan, a laboratory funded by CNRS/IN2P3 and Bordeaux University, is pleased to invite you to participate to the third joint workshop of the France Japan (TYL/FJPPL) and France Korea (FKPPL) International Associated Particle Physics Laboratories.

The workshop will take place in Bordeaux, France, from May 26th till May 28th, 2014. Bordeaux is identified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, thanks to the unity of its urban and architectural expression. The Aquitaine region is the largest wine growing area in France and it is close to the Atlantic Ocean coast.

During the workshop, TYL/FJPPL and FKPPL projects will be presented as well as related international talks of interest.

Two social events will be organized: a welcome ceremony including the signature of the TYL/FJPPL renewal will take place on May 26th at the Conseil Régional d'Aquitaine, and participants will join a gala dinner including wine tasting in the Saint Emilion wineyards near Bordeaux city, on May 27th evening. In addition, a visit to the Centre d'Etudes Nucléaires de Bordeaux Gradignan will be oganized on May 28th (morning or afternoon). In particular, participants will have the possibility to visit the state-of-the-art AIFIRA interdisciplinary irradiation facility and the PRISNA platform dedicated to very low radioactvity measurements for various original applications, such as wine datation.

Lunches, breaks, and social events are fully supported by the workshop organization. Please note that lodging and travel to the workshop site are not included. More information on venue and housing can be found on this link. Additional information on Bordeaux is available here.
