Description
Charm semileptonic decays allow a validation of lattice QCD calculations
through the measurement of hadronic form factors, which parameterize
the effect of strong interaction in these decays. The accuracy of such
calculations is crucial for the improvement of the test of the
standard model in flavour physics. The capability of Babar in measuring
precisely form factors in D meson decays will be shown and results
obtained in several channels will be discussed and compared with
corresponding theoretical calculations.
