Description
We discuss recent results on heavy quarkonium studies from the Belle detector. They include the first evidence for the D state in the psi family and a search for various hadronic transitions (pi0, eta, pi+pi- and pi0pi0) between the bottomonium states. We report an observation of the eta_b(1S) and first evidence for the eta_b(2S), observation of the h_b(1P) and h_b(2P) states as well as a discovery of two exotic states Z_b(10610) and Z_b(10650). Also discussed are recent results on heavy charmonium and bottomonium from hadronic colliders.
