In this seminar, I will present the matrix element method, a reweighting method based on the square matrix element. This method was know thanks to his astonishing precision on the measurement of the top-quark mass. After a critical review of the method, I will present some example of research ongoing and will finish by presenting a Monte-Carlo Tool which automate the required phase-space integration.
