Description
Generalized transverse momentum-dependent parton distributions are Lorentz invariant functions parameterizing the most general quark-quark correlator. In specific limits, they reduce to the better known generalized parton distributions and transverse momentum-dependent parton distributions. They are connected to the quantum phase-space or Wigner distributions by Fourier transform, and therefore encode all the correlations between position, momentum and polarization of quarks. We present the first preliminary study of these distributions using the formalism of light-cone wave functions.
