[IP2I seminar] Flavour physics - P. Morell (UB, Barcelona, ESP) - Taming Scheme Dependence in Precision EFTs: Formalism and Applications
Effective Field Theories (EFTs) provide a universal language for physics across different energy scales. In modern high-energy physics, advancing these theories to Next-to-Leading-Logarithmic (NLL) precision is crucial, but doing so introduces a highly non-trivial dependence on the choice of renormalization scheme. In this talk, I will present the formalism to systematically map results across different schemes and operator bases. Beyond presenting such a connection, I will demonstrate how this framework directly translates into several interesting phenomenological applications. In particular, I will give a special focus to how it has been successfully used to obtain the full set of four-fermion NLL renormalization group equations in the Low-Energy Effective Field Theory (LEFT).
