Description

"HTS Coil and Magnets Hot spot Criteria determination and assessment memo within the help of all stakeholders institute comprising some:
- Bibliographical studies on previous publications, mainly focused on HTS conductors Quench Experiments (Q.E.) in SULTAN (maximum current at 15 kA)
- Determination of electrical and hydraulical Quench Propagation Velocities (QPV) models
- Recall of the different data and Inputs for these quench experiments
- Preliminary analyses of the results, considering some very different design and conductors tested, as well as maximal hot spot temperatures criteria

HTS Coil and Magnet Hot Spot Temperature Determination with application to a full Tokamak CS Coil conductors (at 60 kA and 18 T)
- With developed analytical tool developed for Deliverable D001
- Within the same conditions of electrical and hydraulical QPV (Quench Propagation Velocities)"
