Description
This poster presents a new method for characterizing YBCO superconductors through critical current measurements using pulsed magnetic fields and pulsed current up to 55 T. The technique enables simultaneous high-field and urrent testing while minimizing thermal and stability issues. Because the measurements are performed in short pulses (50us), the method is extremely fast compared with conventional steady-state approaches. This rapid characterization opens the way for efficient evaluation of superconducting performance under extreme conditions.
