Description

Precision measurements of low-energy flavor transitions provide stringent tests of the Standard Model (SM) dynamics. In this seminar, I will review the current status of $B$-meson searches and discuss the opportunities they offer to uncover possible New Physics interactions at the TeV scale. I will give particular emphasis to the theoretically clean decays $B\to K^{(\ast)}\nu\bar{\nu}$, which are now accessible at the Belle-II experiment. Using the Effective Field Theory approach, I will also explore the complementarity between these measurements and non-resonant searches performed at the (HL-)LHC.
