Description
The project Théorie LHC France promotes theoretical research in France that is related to the four LHC experiments (ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHC-B) at CERN.
It currently includes 17 permanent theorists from 8 different laboratories and numerous experimentalists and funds two PhD students and two postdocs. A postdoc position is currently available; new researchers are always welcome to join.
The project Théorie LHC France is a partner of the French GDR Terascale, and this meeting is organized jointly with its Tools working group. Both initiatives are funded by CNRS/IN2P3 and CEA/IRFU.
This meeting takes place the day before the 3rd FCPPL Workshop in order to encourage the participation of Chinese physicists. One session will be devoted to hadron physics, a field studied actively in France and China.
