- LHCb is running smoothly after several fixes
- Time to think of following it for EGI
1.1 Versions :
- DIRAC v8.0.75
- Minor fixes
- Problems with RAL CVMFS Stratum0 to publish new release
- Likely to move dirac.egi.eu CVMFS cell to CERN, e.g. as diracgrid.org
- DIRAC Prerelease v9.0.59
- DIRACX Prerelease v0.0.1a45

1.2 Developments :

- Started dirac-mcp project (Alexandre)
- DIRAC MCP server to provide AI support for the developers
- Similar project at IHEP, should converge to avoid divergences
- DIRAC documentation
- diracgrid.org is being refurbished, to be out next week hopefully

- Hosted at CC ?
- DiracX documentation will be published at diracx.io (mkdocs generated)
- DIRAC hackathon at CERN 5-6th May
- Attempt to update cctbdiracXX to DIRAC9/DiracX
- We did not manage to accomplish
- Problems with ElasticSearch and a number of others
- K3s cluster deployment of diracx on 2 servers (02/03)
- DIRAC8 deployment on 01 from scratch
- Apply migration scripts to DIRAC9
- make backup of the database to complete the procedure

1.3. EGI Services:
- Smooth running in general
- Downtime 17th June: DB update, 13pm-17pm.

- New VOMS server and corresponding updates
- Setting up tokens support at the sites
- Auger
- Automatic VOMS2CSAgent setup done, but needs proper user management on the PERUN/VOMS level
- General
- How to declare VOs supported by a site, how to find sites supporting a VO
- WLCG is not requiring BDII data from sites relying on GOCDB/CRIC
- EGI requires sites to publish in BDII
- Sites look not to follow fully neither approach
- Lengthy discussion in the ticket (https://helpdesk.ggus.eu/#ticket/zoom/3427/). No conclusion yet.
1.4. European/National Projects :
- GreenDIGIT
- Co-located workshop with the EGI'25 Conference: https://indico.egi.eu/event/6692/
- Started development of an agent to publish job records in the common metrics DB. Records will contain "Green" parameters - evaluation of the energy consumed and CO2 produced
- Engineer recrutement restarted :(

- EOSC-01 call : Foundational EOSC Nodes with federating capabilities for the EOSC Federation
- New EC call to be prepaired by Sep 2025
- Very complicated so far, discussions are ongoing

- Possible restart of the collaboration with Galaxy, let's see

- Replacement/continuation of Mesonet/France-Grilles
- Partners: Universities/Mesocenters, laboratories/platforms

2. Projects
2.1 CTAO (Luisa, Natthan)
- Test of the v9 migration, tests are encouraging.
- Data transfered in the parent directory, not in the working directory.
- Work on the job submission described with CWL
- The mode should be supported by the next release of CTAO software
- Study of using DIRAC as a backend of the CWL workflow executor.
- New engineer can study the case starting from September
- To discuter in the CTAO in the end of June
2.2 Biomed (Sorina, Axel)
- Work on a light workflow engine is ongonig: https://github.com/virtual-imaging-platform/vip-workflow-engine/tree/develop
- facilite jobs of the parameter sweeping type
- VIP must function in secure environments, so it does scheduling locally
- Turning to Singularity from Docker. requires apptainer to be available from CVMFS.
- New VOMS server to be enabled next week (16th June)
- Few sites to be configured properly for the jobs biomed.
2.3. Juno
- Started discussion on the JUNO File Catalog based on the DIRAC FC with an extensive use of metadata
- A demonstrator is deployed with fake data and metadata (volume equivalent to about 2 years of JUNO data taking)
2.4 KM3NeT.org
- Setting up automatic VOMS2CS after the new VOMS is available
- Setting up site with KM3NeT tokens
4. Conference, workshop, publications

5. Consortium
- Consortium Board meeting 25th April 2025. Agenda
- Status of the DIRAC9/DiracX development and migration
- report on the LHCb's status

- Agreed to participate. The procedure is to be set up with the HSF people
- Other potential projects with the DIRAC’s involvement
- CTAO as consortium member ? No clear answer yet from the IN2P3 legal office
- Rucio-DIRAC reference service at CERN
- Agreed to pursue

- The next meeting date: 15th Juillet, 14 h
