1. État du Projet

As stated in the recent DIRAC-Rucio mini-workshop : https://indico.cern.ch/event/1443765
DIRAC 9.0, DiracX 0.0.1 are close to the release:
- LHCb to pass to DIRAC 9.0 in February-March
- Some clean-ups still to be made in 9.0
Things to watch while migration:
- ElasticSearch, RSS are must have
- ARC/ARC6 are not used any more in favour of AREX
- Lots of irreversible database schema changes

- Extensions to be updated
- The DiracX extension mechanism is based on pyproject.toml (static binding)
- Only small portion of the DIRAC functionality passed to DiracX in the first place:
- JobStateUpdate service, may be some more
- Using Legacy adapters for the rest
Tokens access to Diracx:
- DiracX will use only tokens for acces
- DiracX proper tokens, for DiracX access only
- Eventually used for storage access (?? being discussed: see https://indico.cern.ch/event/1443765/contributions/6296532/attachments/2997253/5280923/Tokens_for_DM-250116-v11.pdf)
Discussing a possibility of a reference DIRAC-Rucio platform at CERN
- Managed by IT Department of CERN
- Building up on the ILC service experience
The 2025 DIRAC@IN2P3 budget is not clear. We are asked to be modest with missions for the time being

- Multi-host k3s installation is set up and being tested (Bertrand)
- Using multi-host installation
- Using VIP service of OpenStack for loadbalancing access
- A client Check-In for this service is to be created shortly
- Credentials are kept in the Gitlab private repo. A tool to deploy secrets as k3s secrets to be studied.

1.3. Services EGI :
- More or less smooth running, moderate activity
- 5 clients of Check-In service are set up: biomed, enmr.eu, auger, km3net.org, complex-systems:
- This is the "final" solution
- Those are using tokens to submit to HTCondorCE's
- Sites are gradually configured to use these tokens
- ARC CEs still use X.509 certificates (wait until ARC7 deployment)

2. Projets
2.1 CTAO
- Large representation at the DIRAC-Rucio workshop
- Developments:
- Multiple tasks distributed between the CTAO developers
- Test DiracX setup is in place
- based on Rancher
- CTAO IAM
- CWL integration discussion and strategy definition.
- Proposed to pass the DIRAC installation to a K8s environment - to be discussed.
- Better spend effort into the DIRAC->DiracX migration, may be
2.2 Biomed
- Successful use of the Singularity executable from the DIRAC CVMFS.
- JDL job description can specify: NumberOfProcessors = 2 to ensure that the
- working slot allows multiple cores. The proper site and job description to be checked.
2.3. Juno
- Help with setting up a diracx testbed will be needed.
2.4 Km3NET.org
