Description

The Lorentz and CPT symmetries sit at the very core of the Standard Model. These symmetries have been and are currently the subject of extensive experimental tests. The Standard Model Extension (SME) is a viable Effective Quantum Field Theory in which the results of these tests are interpreted as constraints on the size of various coefficients.

In this talk I discuss the structure of the SME with particular focus on the Lorentz and CPT violation in the quark sector. In particular, I focus on tests that can be performed at high energy colliders and discuss: (1) Deep Inelastic Scattering at electron-hadron colliders (HERA, EIC), (2) Drell-Yan at LHC and (3) CPT tests in top decays (Tevatron, LHC).
As part of the DIS discussion, I will present, as member of the ZEUS collaboration, constraints that we obtained from a sidereal time study of ZEUS data.
