Precise predictions of low energy QCD and their experimental checks

The talk will cover the status of theoretical precision predictions for certain low-energy observables of QCD and will discuss several of their experimental verifications. The talk will in particular focus on the results obtained by the DIRAc experiment and on various proposed and/or already approved future extensions.
