OSSR Monthly Meeting - 11/07/2024

  • next Executive Board and Strategic Board meeting in September
• Collaboration:
  • Strengthening of link to national intiatives:
    • Letter of Intent between ESCAPE and Punch4NFDI in signment phase
    • new representative of Punch4NFDI in OSSR: Daniel Hernandez Lang (also following the onboarding of BAT.jl https://github.com/bat/BAT.jl
  • EVERSE:
    • landscaping questionnaire on (best) practices in research software to be issued soon - feedback from OSSR requested (will be collected by Jutta and Kay)
  • Request on cooperation with CSAN project (Comprehensive Software Archive Network) received; project in prototyping phase, aims to add security into container driven deployment (will provide a scanner to list vulnerabilities of containers, and a dedicated network repositories with guarantied low security vulnerabilities containers).
  • OSCARS:
    • response to first round of proposals ( https://oscars-project.eu/oscars-first-open-call ) should be out soon "Mid of July".
  • EOSC:
    • Tripartite Governance of EOSC has launched a questionnaire to gauge the interest of parties to contribute to a testbed of potential EOSC Nodes -> answer by GL
• AAI: bottom up developments (CTAO & SKAO) - would need a force
• Onboarding Status: Update on current onboardings: https://gitlab.com/escape-ossr/ossr-curation/-/merge_requests
  
  • improve check of metadata updates on CI/CD (automatic).
