Conclusions GRAiNITA meeting 20240712

.) Mail to A. Lucotte (done on Saturday) 

.) Progresses about the analysis: 

— Tracking algo3 (v3 reprocessing) is the most precise to date and must be preferred. 
— Reprocessing check: Run51 shows a shift of coordinates frame w.r.t Run 51. To be studied. Identify when the Drift Chambers have been moved w.r.t. GRAiNITA.  

.) About next steps of analysis: 
— Identify with mechanics shop the likelihood of the results shown slide 12-reu. 
— Use of S13-reu  to calibrate the p.e. responses

— Model the background contributions in pions to fit for the MPV: try exponential shapes for the tail and use a muon-educated model for dE/dx (fit muons, get the sigma of the convolution gaussianXLandau and fix it in pion samples). 

— pick-up clean square regions delimited by four fibres to get a measure and model of nonuniformities.

.) Material towards Clermont: postpone to the second half of August.
