Nicolas Leroy: Multi-messenger astronomy for the next 2 decades

Europe/Paris
Amphi Dirac (IP2I Lyon)

Amphi Dirac

IP2I Lyon

Description

In the next 10-20 years, multi-messenger astrophysics (including gravitational waves, neutrinos and electromagnetic radiations) will benefit from a new generation of instruments observing the Universe. The correlations between these detectors will shade new lights on numerous subjects. In this talk, I will discuss some of the studies which will be made possible thanks to the multi-messenger sky.

Seminar by Nicolas Leroy (IJCLab), organised in the framework of the CNRS/IP2I Prospectives.
