Numerical non-perturbative bounds on scattering amplitudes and EFTs

In this talk I will review a numerical non-perturbative technique for bounding the space of scattering amplitudes and present the most recent results. I will then show how the bounds on amplitudes can be translated into bounds on effective field theories (EFTs). I will compare these results with the more familiar ones coming from “positivity constraints”. I will conclude by initiating a discussion on possible applications of the presented technique in phenomenology.
