Description
We present our results for the inclusive transverse momentum differential distribution in jets in the modified leading
logarithmic approximation (MLLA) and next-to-MLLA (NMLLA) of QCD. The agreement between our NMLLA predictions
and measurements by the CDF collaboration is shown to be impressive, which gives further support to the local
parton hadron duality (LPHD) hypothesis. Finally, the extension of QCD evolution equations to heavy quark jets will
be discussed. We extend the so called dead-cone phenomenom to the phenomenology of multiparticle production and
find that the average multiplicity of jets decreases as the mass of the leading heavy quark increases.
