Monthly meeting for Dark Matter Test Science Project:

• Generally on the first Tuesday of the month, at 10-11 (up to 11:30) Rome/Stockholm (main meeting) except when otherwise announced
• If requested by people who can't attend, we can also have a catch-up chat on the following Monday, at 11-12 Rome/Stockholm. 

Focus of this meeting: 

• Updates from EOSC-Future / WP6 regarding authentication
• Round table and updates from the TSP postdocs 
  • Includes an introduction of new team members Axel Gallen and Alex Ekman (who will be present next time) working on ML compression in a Jupyter notebook
• Preparing for next month's ESCAPE event

10:00 → 10:10 Introduction

10:10 → 10:15 Brief update from VRE team (minutes only)

Orateurs: Elena Gazzarrini (CERN), Simone Campana (CERN), Xavier Espinal (CERN)

• STORAGE: will have an S3 storage on INFN EOSC resources, EGI sent us the details to connect and we need to add it as an RSE to DataLake
• COMPUTING: we have connected to INFN Openstack resources using the EGI token connected to IAM and we will be recreating a Reana cluster on their VMs in order for people to connect to it from the VRE and not use CERN's computers. 
• Summer student project ended: can now connect to Rucio via the reana.yaml file and fetch data directly on the reana workspace without having to download them locally --> following this up as this depends on Tibor's full final approval. 
• At the CERN school of computing now, recruiting new VRE users :)
