In 2010, the LHC is expected to deliver about 100 pb-1 of data at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. Possible forward physics measurements with these data include low-x PDFs and QCD parton evolution studies with forward jets in HF and CASTOR, absolute luminosity determination from exclusive di-muon production, exclusive Upsilon photoproduction and diffraction with a hard scale in W and dijet production. The preparations for these measurements will be described, as well as the on-going analyses on the very earliest CMS data, taken in December 2009.
