Monthly meeting for Dark Matter Test Science Project:

• On the first Tuesday of the month, at 10-11 (up to 11:30) Rome/Stockholm (main meeting)
• If requested by people who can't attend, we can also have a catch-up chat on the following Monday, at 11-12 Rome/Stockholm. 

Focus of this meeting: 

• Updates from EOSC-Future / WP6
• Round table and updates from the TSP postdocs 
• Finalising preliminary work plans and milestones for each partner

Gitlab repository created in ESCAPE project:

-Populated with scripts already, creating limit curves and computing fiducial cross-section.

-few of these plots are now on the VRE website.

-Also added summary curve plots (not yet on the website).

 

Jupyter notebooks added as well. Successfully used the DLaaS to access the data and create these curves as well.

• ESCAPE RUCIO INSTANCE
  • knowledge transfer sessions taking place in order to learn how ESCAPE k8s instance is deployed and maintained
  • creating a 'eosc' cluster on openstack, to which we would ideally link external computing resources
• Virtual Research Environment
  • setting up a DLaaS working group after the ESCAPE workshop, around 10 people interested
  • providing support to postdocs running the first workflows on the platform
  • editing and improving the VRE webpage
  • summer student to help on the Reana integration and plug-in selected
