    • 16:00 17:00
      Discussion 1h
      • Klaas will take over part of the architecture role from Nico (escpescially IDA, batch and async) Nico will remain available for question about the Query App in ESAP. Next week Klaas will present his ideas about ASYNC ESAP/Workers and how it could solve some issues in A&A with external services
      • Aard Keimpema/JIVE: Work on JupyterLab plugin for storing data back into local archives (local to the Hub Machine in Dwingeloo)
      • Emanuel: Working on setting up a Jupyter/Binder Hub on Kubernetes (some issues with Kubernetes versions) nothing for ESAP to report.
      • Dave Morris: Work together with EOSSR on Metadata. Decided to manually create Python classes (since schema is not too complex) to represent the schema. Proposed changes: updates to the IDA Datamodel to "store" selected software similar to Data in the shopping basket (some parameters could be changed, such as minimal memory required based on the size of the dataset. Users might want to input these themselves) Then by selecting both Data and Software, compatible compute facilities.
      • Sara & Stefano: setup a new deployment method for ESAP, Klaas will take a look at this and come with feedback -> possible MR for ESAP API Gateway. Sara and Dave are also looking into integrating with Openstack to make machines available (see: https://git.astron.nl/astron-sdc/escape-wp5/esap-general/-/issues/108 )
