Goals of this meeting are to identify the general requirements for batch processing support in ESAP by considering the use cases advanced by ESFRIs. Consider for example:

• How is the software to be executed in batch packaged?
  • Available in containers
  • Available in repositories
  • Already installed on the processing system
  • ... others
• Is support for specific execution systems required?
  • DIRAC
  • ... others
• How is the workflow to be executed described? Is user interaction required, to e.g. insert job parameters or configuration?
• Where is the input data for the workflow drawn from? How is it exposed to the workflow system?
• How will the user retrieve their results?
• ... no doubt there are other questions or considerations that will arise.
